More bright colors today!

Had some time to stamp today and came up with this fun card, inspired by the colors of late summer. I seem to be drawn to bright happy colors these days! This was my first real effort at chipboard, and I really like the dimension that it gives the flower. Colors: Ruby Red, Summer Sun, Green Galore, and Groovy Guava. Stamp Sets from Stampin UP!: Riveting, Polka Dots and Paisleys, and the flower has a background stamp Paisley used, which is hard to see in this photo. The ribbon is from Micheal's and tied in nicely. It's funny how you start projects in one direction and end up with something very different! This was one of those creative surprises!

Here is a picture of the kids and I in front of the bridge in Charleston, SC from the Ft. Sumter overlook. We had such a fantastic time! Jason added lots of pins to his collection. Their favorite day was at the Isle of Palms beach going boogie boarding.
