Happy Birthday to ME! (and practically everyone I know!)

It's that time of year again...the season of birthdays in my family! A large percentage of people that I know and love are Virgos...with birthdays falling in either August, like me, or September, like my husband, my sister and my mother -who turns 70 this year! I received many lovely cards and wishes for my birthday, including this one made by my mom - and I was very impressed that she was "hip" enough to use a fancy fold that is so popular on Splitcoast and all the other stamping meccas. It's difficult to see the detail in these photos - but my mom likes her "bling" and has enhanced the card with her glitter pens and beads...it makes the card very pretty and girly.
And then imagine my surprise to get the same fancy fold from my good friend Amy N. She is always so clever - don't you just love the strings on the balloons? This paper is one of my favorite from Stampin UP! right now - but it comes in a Scrappin kit and Amy and I have been wishing you get the DSP by itself! It is great for back to school too!
So since they seemed to be the "thing" to do, I made one myself for my sister in law -in the mail now, but her birthday is now 20 minutes into play. I got so "in" to making this card that I decide it had to be part of my workshop for September, which is all based on Birthdays in honor of our family birthday months. Unfortunately, this paper is retired, so I had to find another option.....
TA DA! Here are the projects for the upcoming "Birthday Bonanza" Stamp Camps to be held at my house on Sept. 15, 17, and 20. I went all out on these projects, sparing no expense on enhancements like ribbon and glitter. Usually I'm more careful about putting too much details into Make and Takes due to time, but hey - if you don't get them done, you'll have to finish them at home!
The class is $20pp or free with a $50 order. You can save some money by bringing a friend - 2 people are $35. See my demonstrator website for details on times. This is a really good stamp camp to bring your own Fiskars cutter to if you want to help speed things up, and as always, you have to bring your own mono-adhesive or buy one from me for $4. Any special adhesives will be provided. The projects use the stamp set "Crazy for Cupcakes" and the DSP "Tea Party".

Hope to see you there! Call me to reserve your space now! To have the most time to complete the projects, and usually the most one on one help - the daytime class is the best option!

Smiles,

Susan
