Well, I didn't get this posted as soon as I had planned. Lauren decided to be sick for the first day of school so we had to deal with that - plus all the things that come with the school year suddenly kicking our schedule into "high gear"! Plus, as I was working on my projects for this event, I realized that I needed to wait for my order to arrive! Hopefully it was worth the wait - here are the projects for the upcoming Convention Favorites camps scheduled for August 28 and 30, and Sept. 2. See my website here for more details and to rsvp. It should be a lot of fun, and I have SO many things to show you in addition to these projects. We really have an exciting line of new products coming out soon!
The concept behind the camp is to show you some of my favorite things from convention. So first, the Birthday treat holder is a favorite for several reasons. I loved the trick of using the glitter inside the grommet, and of course the Big Shot die being used as a bag topper is great! Next, the book mark was one of my favorite swaps that I received while at convention. I modified it to make it my own and to go with my floral theme. It slips over the corner of a page to mark your place. The "sparkle" card was my favorite display card, again modified to use the new in-colors. This cutting and layering technique has been requested many times as a tutorial so I decided to include it in this camp. Finally, the "thank you" card is my favorite swap that I made and traded at convention, recreated here for you to make.
I hope you're as excited to see and make these projects as I am to bring them to you. If none of these dates work out for you but you're interested in doing them, call me to book your own camp with your own friends and earn hostess benefits at the same time! I have some wonderful promotions and hostess specials that I'm offering that I'd love to share with you!
