More inside pictures

Here are the insides of the other two stationary boxes that I made. I have more in the works now for a class soon, so keep checking back in for date announcements!

I was really trying to break out of my color comfort zone on this first one. It turned out very bohemian which I liked, and there is a little green, but I tried to mix colors that I'm not always reaching for. I like the results, so that just proves you need to experiment now and then.

This color combination is more my classic style - but I tried to lean more blue than green, so at least I pushed it a little!

These were really fun to do! Very time consuming, which is why they make great gifts that are really apreciated, but overall a worthy endeavor for a special someone!

Ghouls just wanta have fun so here's Lauren and I all ghouled up at our annual Fall Fun Fest and Spooky School at our church. We have the best time - it's a good old fashion fall fest with cakewalks, chili cook off, pumpkin carving contest etc....we even tye dyed pumpkin t-shirts for the kids to complete with faces. Some of my creative friends put on a Spooky School down in the sunday school rooms complete with P. E. (Pirate Education). Dave was the school janitor who had skeletons in his closet. It's a haunted house that is geared for younger kids but still scary enough.

Here we are playing the "Wrap your Mummy" game. Lauren had me wrapped up good by the time she was done.

And finally, some pictures of the special cupcakes that I made to share with the kids. If there is one thing we are never short of at our church it is good food, and several of us get creative in our offerings. The kids loved them - especially the owls! Maybe the bugs looked too realistic, but there were some left over for us to take home, so I didn't hear anyone complaining!

Smiles,

Susan
