And, of course for Halloween, I have some collections of Holiday cards that are sold in sets of 5 with envelopes. This jack o lantern has been texturized with Crystal Effects to make him plump as well as shiny, and the stars are all embossed with clear embossing powder-which is hard to see in the photo. A "Happy Halloween" is the message inside. This Jack O Lantern card set sells for $9.50.

All of these boxes of candy or boxed card sets make great gifts. Prices vary depending on amount of difficulty and enhancements added. So, if you're looking for a special card that is unique, please keep me in mind! I'm just starting off slowly, but we'll see how it goes. I've been working on some other containers and card sets that I'll be revealing soon, so please check back regularly for updates!
On a personal note, we've been very busy getting back into the full swing of school and activities. Dave had his 40th birthday which we celebrated in typical Dave fashion-very quiet and dignified with very little fuss, except for the exceptional meal that I made (if I do say so myself!) I was worried that it was not going to turn out and we'd be ordering pizza but in the end it was ok. Jason is doing well in school but still trying to adjust to the new level of responsibility expected of him. Lauren continues to get 100's on every paper I see, and is learning the advantages of being a 2nd child-learning the pitfalls of the older sib!
I'm going to be the chairperson for the Fall Fun Fest at our church on Oct. 26. It's a party geared for all ages, with lots of activities for young kids, a chili cook off, etc. So if you're in the area and you'd like to come by, send me a reply to this post and I'll give you the details!
By the way, you can reply as anonymous and just sign your message instead of logging in or registering. I think this has confused many people when they've tried to respond.
